Few other countries in the world manage to combine so many characteristics in such a small territory. In fact, Switzerland is home to internationally famous locations, such as St. Moritz and Davos where many celebrities and royal family characters go on vacation, and at the same time small towns with an intimate and familiar atmosphere. This destination is able to accommodate the needs of different visitors thanks to the excellent ski facilities, the itineraries for trekking and mountain biking but also to the numerous resorts that offer boutiques for shopping and spas with healing mineral springs.
Within its large territory the landscape comes in infinite variations: the Lombardy region ranges from the Alps to the countryside, from art cities to small hamlets rich in history, in what is Italy’s big lake district (there are more than fifteen lakes).
